Day 1 Legoland
During spring break, we took the kids to Disneyland and Tyler was sooo scared of all the rides. He and either Brian or I spent a lot of time waiting and watching other people have fun. Legoland was just perfect to get him used to crowds and rides before we hit Disneyland again.
Day 2 SeaLife Aquarium at Legoland and Carlsbad beach

Brian and the big boys got pummelled over and over with the waves. Michael got a little thrashed, but Derek would get up, get rolled by a huge wave and go for it again. They had a great time and everyone had a layer of sand to wash out of their scalp when we got back to the hotel.
Michael picked up a small shell and put it in his bag with his clean underwear and the next morning all his underwear smelled like something had died in them until they were washed. He's such a collector. Maybe we can find something not so smelly to collect on our next trip.
Day 3 & 4 DISNEYLAND & CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE
We had such a fun trip here this time around. We split up the kids so one of us was with TT and the other with the big boys. We figured out the fast pass system and hit the rides we missed in the spring. Midway through the day we went to CA Adventure and it was way less crowded than Disneyland so we spent most of our 4th day there as well. Michael and Derek loved California Screamin - a huge rollercoaster that takes off at the speed of light and goes upside down. They went on it 6 times, most of them with their hands in the air as I sat behind them cringing, wondering why I went on it again and again and again. it's fun to see what daredevils they are. As long as Derek knows he won't get hurt, he'll do anything.

Sounds like so much fun. We have not made it to those parks yet. Maybe when we don't have a baby... or a toddler... Maybe we will wait until Chase is tall enough to go on the rides.
I can't believe you forgot the voucher. That makes me laugh! That is so my life.
Thanks for the blogs!
