This month we went to see a fantastic show at the basketball arena. It was called Dinosaur Live. We were about 20 feet from the stage and the dinosaurs looked and sounded almost life like. They were huge! The kids thought it was so cool and poor Tyler, even though he was scared by the loud noises couldn't keep his eyes off the dinosaurs. Here are a few pictures.
Tyler's 4th birthday.
We threw a small friend party for Tyler at the park. Really only a playdate with cupcakes, but he had fun and was so excited to have a party this year!
Tyler actually surprised us a couple days after his 4th birthday by reading a book out loud. He is so interested in words and what everything says. It all started one day when I was quizzing Derek on his spelling words. Tyler walked in and said "Derek, spell 'seed.'" Derek's reply was, "No, you spell seed." "OK. S...E...E...D." I pulled out an easy beginning reader and that was it. He loves it! I'm not surprised though. Anything the boys do, he wants to do also. He hates to be left out!
